Our Founder’s Journey

“I grew up in rural Costa Rica in a modest family, where travel felt like a faraway dream. Yet from an early age, I was filled with insatiable curiosity — always eager to see how people lived in other places, to learn from different cultures, and to experience the beauty of the natural world. Over time, that curiosity became my compass. Step by step, I found ways to explore — first in my own country, then beyond. Each journey opened doors to new perspectives, but it also taught me something deeper: travel is not just about moving from one place to another. It’s about learning, growing, and building genuine connections with people and the natural world. Those moments of discovery, surrounded by vibrant ecosystems and warm communities, are when I’ve felt most alive.”

His professional path has been equally shaped by the love of exploration.
