Refund Policy

At Link Expeditions, we understand that circumstances can change and plans may need to be adjusted. To provide clarity and structure around this, we’ve devised a comprehensive Refund Policy that addresses different scenarios and the procedures for claiming refunds.

General Cancellations: 

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. The cancellation terms would then depend on the notice period before the travel date:

  • Cancellations made more than 35 days before the travel date: A refund will be issued after deducting a 10% administration fee of the total cost.
  • Cancellations made 34 days or less before the travel date: Unfortunately, no refund can be provided.

Cancellations due to Unforeseen Circumstances: 

In the event of extenuating circumstances such as severe illness or unavoidable natural disasters, we advise our customers to contact us immediately. While we cannot guarantee a refund in such instances, we will work with our service providers to try and minimize the financial impact on our customers.

Tailor-Made Tour Cancellations: 

Some tailor-made tours and itineraries may have distinct cancellation terms differing from those outlined in our Policies. Your tailor-made tour consultant will notify you of the cancellation terms applicable to your booking before accepting your deposit when they differ from those outlined in our Policies.

Refunds for Services Not Rendered: 

If a service, tour, or activity included in your booking could not be provided due to reasons within our control, we will offer a suitable alternative. If an alternative cannot be provided, we will refund the cost of the service not rendered.

Processing Refunds: 

All approved refunds will be processed and returned to the original mode of payment within 30 business days of the refund request being approved.

Please note that this Refund Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions, which may have additional or overriding clauses related to refunds.

Remember, travel insurance can often protect you from potential loss of the cost of your trip due to unforeseen circumstances. We recommend that all travelers consider such insurance.
